Pianist Naut de Bruin and guitarist Alex van der Spek will release their debut EP 'Reset' in late 2026. Inspired by the music of contemporary jazz artists such as Joey Baron, Pat Metheny, and Fred Hersch, they decided to write their own material for their eponymous band. Lyrical melodies and colorful harmonic discoveries form a common thread throughout their compositions, alongside the various grooves they love to experiment with.
Together with bassist Emile Fortanier and drummer Marc Sentenie, they form the quartet 'Reset'. The band is characterized by a warm and open sound, in which subtlety and the use of silence play an important role.
